I've had a bit of an ephiphany. My life would be better if I built it on fewer houses of cards.

Email Idiocy
We use Lotus Notes at work. Notes could benefit from some serious usability improvement.
I tried using Microsoft Outlook Connector for Notes in late 2004. It had the annoying habit of wandering off and not responding for epic periods. I tried really hard to make it work. It seems to work for some, but I couldn't make it reliable in my environment.
I tried using IBM Lotus DAMO (Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook). It wasn't half bad. But now my work email passes through the Domino server, then replicates via DAMO to my local disk, and is read in Outlook. Too many stories in that building for Zen. It freaks out like nobody's business if it isn't the default mailbox in its mail profile.
